The Great Fish Heist

Privacy policy

Effective October 9, 2026

The short version. Your progress lives on your phone. If you sign in with Apple, we keep a copy of it in the cloud so you can play on another device; we never ask for your email. Ads are only ever the ones you choose to watch, served by Unity, which asks your permission before tracking. You can delete everything from the game: Settings > Delete my data.

This policy explains what the game Purrsuit (the "game") collects, why, who it is shared with and the choices you have. The game is made by Christopher Rosso ("we", "us"). Questions: chrisrossonyc@gmail.com.

What stays on your phone

Your progress (fish, stars, levels, the looks you own and wear, missions, mastery, settings) is saved on your device. Nothing about it leaves your phone unless you sign in to cloud saves (below).

Cloud saves (if you sign in with Apple)

Signing in is optional. If you do, we receive from Apple an identifier that is unique to you and to this game (it does not reveal your Apple ID), and, the first time only and only if you choose to share it, your first name, which the game uses to greet you. We never ask Apple for your email address. We store that identifier, your first name if shared, and a copy of your game progress, so that it can be restored on another device. Your progress is stored with Cloudflare, Inc., which hosts our servers. We keep it until you delete it.

Purchases

Purchases are made and processed by Apple through the App Store. We never see your payment details; the game is only told what was bought, so it can unlock it, and it records your purchases in your progress so they can be restored.

Rewarded ads

The game shows an ad only when you choose to watch one for a reward. Ads are served by Unity Technologies through Unity LevelPlay and Unity Ads, which collect information about your device and its use of the ad (such as your IP address, device model and operating system, and ad interactions) to serve, measure and protect ads. On iOS the game asks your permission (App Tracking Transparency) before your device's advertising identifier can be used for tracking; if you say no, ads are still shown when you choose them, without that identifier. Unity's own policy applies to what it collects: unity.com/legal/game-player-and-app-user-privacy-policy. If you buy Ad-free Crew, no ads are shown at all.

What we do not do

Children

Purrsuit is made for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13; if you believe a child has given us information, write to us and we will delete it.

Deleting your data

In the game, open Settings > Delete my data. It deletes your progress on the phone and, if you signed in, your cloud save and account on our servers, and revokes the game's access to your Apple ID. Purchases can be restored afterwards with Restore Purchases. You can also stop the game's access to your Apple ID at any time in iOS Settings > your name > Sign-In & Security > Sign in with Apple. To ask for a copy of your data, or for deletion, write to chrisrossonyc@gmail.com.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example in the European Union, the United Kingdom or California), you may have the right to access, correct, delete or move your personal information, and to object to or restrict how it is used. Write to us to use them; we answer within 30 days. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.

Security and where data is kept

Cloud saves travel over encrypted connections (HTTPS) and are kept on Cloudflare's servers, which may be outside your country. Sign-in sessions are random tokens of which we store only a fingerprint.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will update it here and change its date above; for important changes we will also tell you in the game.
